What does the centre do?
The program's offered at the centre aims to provide young people with a profound understanding of their own potential.
Develop language and powers of expression
Develop the capacity to make positive decisions
Develop comprehension and critical thinking
Plan and execute service projects
How does it work?
Every week, a group of junior youth (between the ages of 11 and 15) meet with their animators for a period of 1 to 2 hours.
Junior youth read stories that help develop their powers of expression, critical thinking skills, and comprehension skills. The content of the stories is intended to help junior youth make positive decisions by exploring concepts such as kindness, justice, and honesty.
Junior youth also engage in complementary activities such as arts, drama and sports
Older youth (15+) can serve as animators for the program, a mentor who helps guide a group in achieving their aims while supporting their young friends develop their talents and capacities.
